The MAIN PLAYERS

Or at least this is what I drew in a rage after trying to get the smarmy little so-and-so right... threw away so many sketches, scribbled on and crumpled up so much paper before I got him to a level that I was happy with. It doesn't help that I've not been playing with colour yet and he just looks like a dog or a wolf with a star and an 'F' on his chest...
Oh that's an important note re all the characters by the way, they all have their own little logo or symbol so that when they ALIEN MORPH ! ! you can still tell that it's them.

If you click this image you can see some of the earlier weaker sketches, as well as some of the later ones that were starting to work. I tamed the beast loads and now we're all happy.
The Fox is the cool guy out of the gang. He transforms whenever it's midnight and is a pretty tricky kinda cat. Fox.
Originally when he transformed he'd tell all his friends and they'd all go EAT EACH OTHER but I've gotta keep this suitable for kids, I want to make sure, for now, that everything is real safe and child friendly.

Oh, here's another spooky drawing of him that came out whilst I was trying to wrestle him out of the pencil. There's more stuff like this that you'll all get to see in good time when I make the post about all the guys alien forrrmzz - eek !






OKEEDOKES! Next up we got ROCKET!He's the cutey of the bunch. He's also a spaceship. And he can transform into an alien whenever it's morning. Originally (again this has to change - for the children) he'd go outside after changing, tell all of his friends and then they'd all eat stones. If you eat stones you choke and die and nobody wants anybody to die young because of a 30second long cartoon about a half man half spaceship half alien cuteypie. ANYWAY! I've probably had the most fun with this character. I also even considered leaving out the Fox and Twenty in favour of a 3 part story all about Rocket.
This idea still used the same themes, only Rocket would transform into a spaceship at different times of the day instead of an alien and would fly off on advetures with a gang of kids.
But naw, I prefer having the three different guys so they can all have a 30s short each. SEEMS MORE FARE ON THE FELLAS , Y'KNOW ?!

His logo is smart too because it's EXACTLY THE SAME as the Ravensbourne College logo. What a beautiful coincidence! He'll be smiling and shining and promoting and everything all at once.














TWENTY
Last but not least there's Twenty. He's like the sad big lonely bully type of guy wh you hang around with even though he picks on you just because you feel sorry for him. He transforms whenever it's (ho ho ho) 20 past... (I wrote all this stuff originally when I was about 4 - 5 1/2 years old by the way guys, priceless golden nuggets from an innocent mind is all)
I decided to make him all big and massive because 20 must have seemed like such a huge number to me when I was that age... In the original audio recording (I'll figure how to post soundbites over the next few days) I even pause half way through saying it (twen... ty) as if I'm really struggling to get my head around this HUGE number.



Any how it's getting late and I need to head home to get something to eat. I'mmm starrrrvinnnng. I might bop down to McDonalds later to use their free wifi and post some of the alien pics as well as talk more in depth about what this whole concept is actually all about etc as I don't think I've been too clear so far.
